MINI MARATHON DIVERSIONS FOR 2010:
PHIBSBORO:
Route 10:
Prior to race, service will operate as follows due to closure of St Stephens Green.
Northbound: normal to Baggot Street left to Mespil Road on to Grand Parade, Portobello to Camden Street
on to South Great Georges Street, Dame Street and normal route.
Southbound: normal to DOlier Street, Nassau Street on to Clare Street, Merrion Square North, Mount Street Lower, Pembroke Rd (At Kiosk), to Waterloo Rd and normal route.
The last through bus to Belfield will be the 13:00hrs from the Park.
The last through bus to the Park will be the 13:50hrs from Belfield.
Buses can not enter Stephen's Green until 18.30 hrs.
During the race and up to 18:30
The number 10 will operate to Nassau Street as normal.
From Nassau Street Westland Row, Pearse Street to Westmoreland Street and normal route to Phoenix Park.
The first bus from the Phoenix Park to Belfield will be the 18:15 hrs.
The first bus from Belfield to the Phoenix Park will be the 18:37hrs.
DONNYBROOK:
Route 11
(From 08.00am to18.30 hrs)
Northbound: via Ranelagh, Charlemont Street, Camden Street to city and normal route.
Southbound: via Georges Street, Camden Street to Ranelagh and normal route.
Routes 14, 14A, 44, 44C, 48A,
(From 08.00am to 18.30 hrs) -
To City: via Camden Street, Aungier Street to South Great Georges Street and city.
From City: (14/A) via South Great Georges Street to Camden St and normal route.
From City: (44,48A) via South Great Georges Street to Camden Street, Harcourt Rd and Charlemont Street
to normal route.
Route 18 (From 14.30 hrs to 17.30 hrs)
Route 18 to terminate in Ranelagh during the race. Buses are to use
"The Bleeding Horse Pub" (Kellys corner) as turn around point.
To City: (46A & 145) (From 9.30 am to 14.30pm) Left at Leeson St Bridge to Grand Parade, Canal Rd,
right at Portobello to Richmond St, Camden St, Aungier St, Georges St, Dame St to City Centre.
From city: (From 9.30 am to 14.30pm)
Dame St, Georges St, Aungier St, Camden St, Harcourt rd, Charlemont St left to Grand Parade,
Mespil Rd right to Leeson St and follow normal route.
Route 46A, 63, 84, 145, 746 (From 14.30 18.30)
From City: Pearse St, Ringsend Rd, Irishtown, Strand Rd, Merrion gates onto Rock Rd, right onto
Mount Merrion Ave and Normal route.
Route 46A, 63, 84, 145, 746 (From 14.30 18.30)
To City: Note: Handovers on route 46A / 746 MUST USE Fosters Avenue diversion in both directions
and hand over at OSheas Pub (Clonskeagh) in both directions.
All other buses on above routes will use:
Stillorgan Rd, Right onto Mount Merrion Ave, left onto Rock rd, Right at Merrion gates onto Strand Rd,
Beech Rd, Irishtown, Ringsend rd to Pearse St and onto Normal route.
Note: Buses using Fosters Avenue will travel Via Fosters Ave Roebuck Rd, right to Clonskeagh Rd, Ranelagh Rd,
Charlemont St, Camden St, Aungier St, Georges St, Dame St to City Centre.
Out Bound: Via Dame St, Georges St, Aungier St, Harcourt rd, Charlemont St, Ranelagh Rd, Clonskeagh Rd, left to Roebuck Rd, Fosters Avenue and right to Stillorgan Rd and normal route.
Routes 7 (No Sunday Service for No 5s)
During race (14:00 to 17:30)
To City Via Merrion gates Strand Rd, Beach Rd, Irish town, Ringsend Rd to Pearse St and onto Normal route.
From City: as above.
Route 45 During race (14:00 to 17:30)
Inbound: OK to Merrion Rd, turn Right at Merrion Gates, Strand Rd, Left onto Johns Rd, Terminate at
St Johns Church (Route 3 Terminus).
Outbound: Johns Rd, Right onto Strand Rd, left at Merrion Gates onto Merrion Rd, Normal route.
RINGSEND GARAGE:
Routes 2 / 3
During race above route will operate to and from St. Johns church only.
Note: Last bus to Belfield before race will be the 1305 departure ex P. Sq. E.
Last bus before Belfield before race will be 1345 departure.
Route 15, 15A, 15B, 15C: (From 08.00 am to 18.30 hrs)
To City: via Camden St, South Great Georges Street, Dame St, and City.
From City: via South Great George's Street to Camden Street, South Richmond
Street to normal route.
Routes 74 / 74A
To City: via Camden St, South Great Georges Street, Dame St, and City.
From City: via South Great George's Street to Camden Street, South Richmond
Street to normal route.
HARRISTOWN GARAGE:
Route 4 / 4A: During race (14:00 to 17:30)
Southbound: DOlier St, via Townsend St, Sandwith St, Pearse St, Irishtown, left onto Beech Rd, Strand Rd,
and Merrion gates to normal route.
Route 4 / 4A: During race (14:00 to 17:30)
Northbound: Rock rd, right at Merrion Gates strand rd, Beech rd, Irishtown, Ringsend rd, to Pearse St and
normal route
Route 13/A:
From 08:00am the normal terminus on Merrion Square will be moved to Westmoreland Street. Route 13 will
operate to and from Westmoreland Street until 19:00 hrs.
After 19:00 hrs the 13 route will operate as per normal from Merrion Square.
Route 128
Northbound: via Camden Street, Aungier Street to South Great Georges Street and city.
Southbound: via South Great Georges Street to Camden St and normal route.
Route 140:
Northbound: Route 140 will terminate at Westmoreland St for duration of the Race.
Southbound: Last bus stop for the duration of the race will be DOlier St.
TOURS:
Up to 12:30hrs Tours will operate as normal to Nassau St, then Via Kildare St, Molesworth St, Dawson St,
Nassau St, Suffolk St to Dame St. Then back onto normal Route.
After 12:30hrs Tours will operate as normal to Nassau St, then Via Westland Row, Pearse St, Dame St.
Then back onto normal route.
